Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Another Italian Vetterli bayonet... that very much appears to have been altered for use on a Carcano. Which is very unusual. Also with wooden grips instead of the gutta percha or whatever they used. Which is unusual.

I don't have many bayonet references, but the few pics I've seen of Vetterli/Carcano bayonets show a knob on the bottom of the guard. Which is missing here.

So I carefully compared these pics to the ones I have and am 75% sure it's for a Carcano. We will see. SW

They are still good property and will fit the 10.4 Vetts, too. Keep your eyes peeled for a muzzle ring that looks a bit off. A lot of these were altered by Italian armorers to fit the M.95s they got as WW1 reparations. Most went to East Africa and are not seen here very often. SW
