No I don't mean the new tattoo I got last week.
Bought me a Colt Single Action revolver in 357mag
NIB, had never been fired. Cereal# says it was manufactured in 1972
Downside is it cost me 1400 (asking price was 1500).
But hey, I fell in love ...

Yep, it's still in the shop at the range.
Did get to fire 4 stray rounds that I found in my rangebag though
Neighborhoud cop is coming tomorrow for a signature on the ppwk, should get the liscence in about 8 weeks or so.

very very nice , ive wanted a colt in 45 colt , but ended up with a ruger , a taurus , and a few ubertis that are taking the abuse of SASS CA , my only colt SAs are 22s

Got 3 Colts now.
This SA, a Python, a mod 1903 .32 pistol.
3 Smiths too.
Used to have a Ruger Blackhawk 357 but sold that one a couple years ago. Doesn't even come close to the Colt SA ...

oh - in addition i do have some colt DA/SA revolvers , and a couple nice colt semi-autos

i'm in that boat but i like the cimarons , they are well made replicas , im actually shooting a pair when not wearing the tarus and ruger versions , older photo with my first cimaron and the tarus

I only bought it becose it's a real Colt.
Wouldn't have bought a copy at half the price.
Which doesn't mean those copies are not nice guns, I liked my Ruger Blackhawk a lot. Got rid of that one to get the Python :-)

i hear you on the buy and the logic , im on the other hand shootin the chit out of the ones i have and hopin i live long enough to wear them out - then buy real colts to replace them ????

I don't figure I'll ever wear out the Colt, but I'm sure going to shoot it.

How does that Schofield shoot?
I've been trying to avoid my desires for one for years. The only one I ever tried was a .38 spl and it wobbled at the hinge. That one was kind of punished by it's owner.
