Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

A fresh crate o' ammo! :bigrin: Scored 1120 rounds of 1979 Yugo 7.62x39 on sale from J&G.

I bought some when it was first imported in the 80s & it shot well in my SKS. Brass case - non-magnetic boolet & corrosive. That doesn't bother me - I always clean rifles after shooting any eastern Euro ammo like it was corrosive... because most of it is to one extent or another.

Now if the roads would dry up a little so I could go out & test fire it! SW

I know him well - he does my FFL x-fers for me. Besides - he cheated & used a small hand truck. Now I get to lug it downstairs! SW

....the last time I had a crate of 7.62X54r delivered the fella glared at me with possibly one of the most evil looks I've seen....whether it was because it was heavy-or because he was an anti and knew what was inside,I dunno... :rotflma:

Case is marked "MK 79". Both letters are the same in English & Serb Cyrillic. BTW - Serb & Russian Cyrillic are not the same.

I have a few leftover from when they were first imported with Cyrillic letters and 81. SW

Those strippers alone will cost you money at an european militaria show, I've seen them for sale in Gent late december. At the fleamarket in my mothers' village last summer I made some up with empty cases. Sold them at 50cents apiece ;)
Mostly I leave the empties at the range and throw the strippers in my "recyclable metal" bucket. The ammo I have is Czech, steel cased, corrosive as hell. But very affordable, when you can get it ...
