April Fools (late) you made up this caliber, right? I can see why it might be cheap. Oh, why shoot pig when you can get one at the grocery store all cut up and ready to go? Major purchase for me tomorrow, maybe. Best Regards, Mark |

Oh, the boredom of standard calibers! Sure I shoot a lot of 9mm & 38 special, but in a contender, the 256 Win ( 357 necked down to 25 cal) and 6.5TCU (basically a 6.5/223) really shine! The latter is capable of neutering small insects at 100M or more. I won a little gold with a 10" 30 Herret back in the day. SW |

Oh, the cost of custom tooling......somewhat like an unspeakable caliber I know of. The money I have in tooling and components for all my calibers scares me. Oh the horror! Just think, tomorrow, I'm taking on one more. Best Regards, Mark |

Yes. You will find it listed in the more complete reloading manuals. This caliber and the 357 Herret were designed by gun mag author, Bob Milek and gun grip maker, Steve Herret. I even had a box of 100 loaded rounds stuffed away in the back of my ammo cabinet! SW |

I sort of miss Milek's in-print musings. Seems he's been outta circulation for a while.... Struck me as odd-ball at first with his scoperized handguns- at a time before it was a mainstream thing... Regards, Doc Sharptail |

There was some actual talent among the older gun writers. Milek - Skelton - Keith - Askins - Phil Sharpe... it's a long list. I'm not overly impressed with the current crop. They seem more concerned with promoting whatever brings the most money for them. SW |
