A Russian sailor's hat of the Pacific Ocean Fleet. Size 59 must be 7 3/8 since it fits just right. The tallys (ribbons) even have anchors on them! Now I need to dig out Dads "Donald Duck" hat from when he enlisted in summer, 1941. No tallys but it might have a USS Nevada identifier on it. now thats a really fun one as well , i always enjoy seeing what you collect because its outside my immediate collecting interest , i seldom look seriously at such items at a show but i learn much and enjoy much seeing yours and hearing the actual stories |
