Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Yesterday pm I accopanied Frederik (one of our usuam suspects, known to some of us) to "Cornet" in Brussel (THE major gunshop in our part of the country) to collect his Scorpion .32 "machine pistol". (But that's another story.) I took along my trapgun which I haven't shot for about 8 years and which had been for sale at the range for over 3 years.
Long story. Skip it.
I was looking to make a trade, something in .22lr, like a Walther PP or a nice bolt action rifle. The only .22 carabine I have now is my Winch 9422.
Was pretty busy at the shop, so we had time to look around. Had some really nice stuff on display. Kinda liked the Beretta 9mm smg, but as I already have an UZI I don't want to push my luck with asking for a permit.
Soooo .... salesguy was interested in my shotgun and offered me a decent trade value.
I hesitated a long time on the Walther PP, but as I already have a PPK in .32 I decided on a carabine. Selected this pristine BRNO model 2 in 22lr. I doubt it has ever been fired. Not a scratch on it. Marked "Made in Czechoslovakia" so it's one of the originals. After the secession of the country CZ factory became Czech Republic and BRNO became Slovak Republic.
Really sleek rifle, comes with a 5 round clip but I got an extra 10 round clip + spare magazine for my Luger and 500 rounds of CCI 22lr. Pretty god deal !
Unfortunately the barrel has no threads to accept a silencer; but as silencers are E-legal that doesn't matter much does it ;)
Shot it with open sights this am; extremely accurate, perfect balance, great trigger, functions flawlessly. Might get a small scope for it, would be deadly accurate at 50m.
Me wappy :Dbounce:
(pic is from internet, not the actual gun. Mine has lighter slightly tigerstripe stock).

BRGDS, A
