Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Got 2 boxes of loot from the usual suspect today! Some from the expo and some from the online auction there. Puma stuff first. Why collect Puma? I dunno... darn good steel, though.

Puma dress bajonet. It has been poorly stored over the years, but it was way cheeper than I see them here. At least it hasn't been abused with a bench grinder!

I likes this one best! A gen-u-ine Puma carving set! Can't wait to try it out on a wild turk! :bigrin:

The blade is Puma steel instead of 440C like we see for kitchen cutlery here. Etched with hunting scenes and gold washed. The fork has "sideboards" - not sure why... so large slices don't fall off while being served?

The sharpener is old school metal. Newer Puma carving sets have ceramic sharpeners. Oh, and gen-u-ine stag handles. I extremely like it!! SW
