nope - i wanted the conversion ...i thought , i ended up with these cap and balls , im not at all sure what i was thinking , i really was thinking to shoot the conversion in SASS for fun , but got sidetracked by the sale items they were pushing when i went looking , pretty good deals if my tracking of prices was correct , i dont shoot black powder for SASS , these were just too cool to pass up , im probably gonna order that converted one after i pay for these , i think its a 1858 or 1861 model i was actually looking for , i was just "looking" to see what was out there , lesson learned - dont search if you dont know what you are looking for , a bit over $300 later i have two revolvers i like alot but had no intention of buying , at least the are not FFL items , no added cost to further insult my stupidity , they are growing on me tho , i might have to give them a go at a local match , they dont fit my current holsters well tho , |

Here's a link to the lower priced place selling conversion cylinders. http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/hand-gun ... nders.html When shopping for a ready made cartridge conversion, look for Cimarron brand. I'm cheep and converted mine myself - also one for Mario. SW |

Mario's is an 1860 Colt repro with a 45 Colt centerfire cylinder. 1858 Rem has a top strap and is easier to switch cylinders & reload. SW |
