Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Location: On the couch a lot now that I'm retired

I sold a couple guns that were just gathering dust and turned them into this M1A "SOCOM" (16" bbl) with extras. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it comes with extras I was going to buy anyway like the Springfield scope mount and extra mags.

Plus it has an original M14 walnut stock and handguard. Now to buy dies and brass! SW

That's a nice piece of wood!

Be interesting to see where a 180 gr would chrony out of that 16" bbl....
It would make a nice west-world type scabbard gun :bigrin:

Or a truck gun for coyotes and badgers. Which is why I wanted the shorter barrel - makes it handier to move around in the truck.

It would also be great for a piggy hunt! SW
