It's an Artemis .22 cal pump up air rifle.

Image

That is at 8 pumps with a 14.3 gr. .22 cal. pellet.

Image

15 yd group from rest with the 16 gr Polymag Predator.

I am much pleased with this rifle! It's gonna be a good hunter!

Regards,

Doc Sharptail

It's gonna end up with a different scope.

Unfortunately, the old K-3 I had on the Win 52 needs a re-seal, and a new nitrogen purge. Had it out in the 20 F evening walk 'em up for grouse, and she fogged on the inside. Brought the scope in the house, and the fog cleared. The 52 will get the Vortex. The new pump up air rifle will wear a 3 1/2 - 10 X 36 mm A/O Banner for the time being. Just one of the drawbacks to using a +50 year old scope...

There's a look at the new pumper with the 3.5-10 X 36mm A/O Banner aboard.
The short rail on this gun makes mounting some scopes a challenge.
I suppose I should try the K-4 on it, even though that's a 100 yd parallax setting scope.

Gun is still tightening up group wise. Got a caliber on centers for a 5 shot group at 20 yds, which is very, very good for an air gun removed that far from the Walther bbl loop....

Was talking to the dealer last week, and he is going to see about ordering in some .177 bbls for these.

Doc Sharptail

The .177 version arrived! I have a scope and a front sight on it now.
The newer gun shows a bit darker, and a bit more grain to the stock wood.

Image

Banner 6-24X 42 mm A/O aboard.

Nifty performance for pneumatic pumper!

She seems to want to print groups as well! Have to sit her down with some Predator pellets, and see what kind of hunter it will make. Haven't decided on a scope yet. That big Banner is more of a bench rest scope than anything else. Fortunately I has a bit of a scope pile to dig through....
