Interesting piece! Supposedly the impetus for Ruger to come up with the MK-1. Can't tell if the grips are rubber or wood from the photo. Congrads on a nice score! Regards, Doc Sharptail |

Some type of Asian wood for the grips - not sure what. I'm keeping my eyes open for a "project" large trigger guard now. Type 94 then? No. Had one once and you can truly fire it by pressing on the exposed sear bar. They look even odder than a Type 14, but oddly, they fit the hand well and point naturally. But I gots no need for a gat that goes 'bang' when you least expect it! SW |
