The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Just got this at auction for $18 & nobody bid against me! It will be just the ticket for slicing fresh turkey! Now I better score a box o' real butter for gravy! :bigrin:

They do look pretty. Now, the question is, how sharp is the knife and how much work will it be to make as sharp as you want it to be? I made the mistake of sharpening my best friends wife's knives to the level I like them. The Zoomie almost removed a finger when he used one of them in his usual haphazard brute force cutting sessions.

Nice! Haven't quite seen that blade profile in a carving set before, but I like it!
