Also picked up an FE-2 body to go with these. It's quite a beater with just the M-250 shutter speed being reliable. It's a lot easier for me to hold than the tiny little FG. The Nikkor 28 is an amazing little lens, despite it's slightly slow speed. Razor sharp. The Nikkor 50 is large enough for me to get a grip on, compared to the pancake series "E" I had in the sock drawer for the past 35 years...

Apparently I can get scans of these from the photo shop, instead of fooling around trying to do hand-held copy work :lol

Will have to ask about it next time I'm in.

The Canon has very nice contrast. I think the Vivitar was likely made for portraiture. Bit on the muddy side for landscapes, but there is no filter over the lens elements~ just bare glass. The Canon 50mm was shot the same filterless way...
