Couldn't pass this one up. Not a Finn, but the same parent marketing company. Made in china of course. Got it for a song new in clamshell at the second-hand store. Works well, but the quality of the steel is not the same as the Finn pictured below. Easier to feel fish bones with the Finn. Still a good back-up, and it will be handy when I finally bag some grouse. Still would like to find a CRKT trout/bird sheath knife with the micarta scales. Hope it has not been discontinued... If you're ever tempted by a Chinese made Puma, they are nowhere near as good as the German ones. The steel just doesn't hold an edge very well. The Spanish Pumas - marked Puma IP - aren't too bad. I've got a couple & am not sorry I do. I'll never buy another Chinese Puma, though. SW |
