Stainless 2 reel tank and reels (used). 50 ml graduated cylinder.
Paid all of ten bucks for the tank and reels. The crappy little plastic graduated cylinder was twice that price.

Already have a changing bag here. Just need rodinal or equivalent, indicator stop bath, fixer, and a tiny bottle of photo-flo and a squeegee for film.

They had "Blazinol" developer there which is supposed to be a rodinal equivalent. Not sure as there was no 1-100 dilution listed on the bottle. 1-50 I could probably do 400 Tri-X in for 12 min.

There are a couple of other photo shops around that carry developer. I'm not giving up on Rodinal yet...

Is it possible to mark a package, "unexposed film, please do not X-ray"? Some countries are anal about that - like Hungary. If it's possible, I have a quantity of Tri-X Pan at a price you couldn't refuse! ( nothing) SW

Interesting. Was lookin at cassettes for using bulk just yesterday. The Ilford cassettes are now un-reloadable. They have to be wrecked just to get the film out. No more threading off the spool caps to get at the film. Wonder if the new style plastic cassettes are gonna be light tight after more than a couple of uses....

Tri-X has changed. The current version has a different grain formulation than the old Tri-X pan that we all knew and loved in the late 70's. My curiosity has piqued on this. I had to back off 1/3 stop on the 70's version to ASA-320 to get into the usable zone with Ilford M/G paper. Like to see what I'm gonna get with Rodinal and the current version Tri-X...

I doubt it would make it through CBSA without getting zapped. From what I'm seeing on the internet there is a bit of a revival of film photography occurring. Mostly old pharts like me out to recapture their flaming youth...

If you check and it's possible, I'll send it. I think I also have some re-usable cassettes - as well as other misc dark room stuff that I'll never use. SW

Will let you know when I can find something out. Last time I flew, there were photo materials stickers available at the airport. That was pre-9/11 though, and matters have changed significantly...

In the meantime:

Got just about all I need now except for a film squeegee and an outdated roll or 2 to practice loading reels. Probably gonna need it. It's been almost 35 years since I last spooled up a stainless reel...

wow , thats all equipment i sold off back in the 80s , wish i had it back sometimes but then spent way too many hours in the darkroom for my first wife - this one would not be happy i think either in the end

i had a darkroom built into the coal room of my first house , it was fantastic , i have no place to put one here , way more square feet [3X] but reloading in a bathroom we only use a little , it has a skylight and too much glass to be a darkroom ,

nice stuff tho , congrats
