Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

A little more stuff:

Tamron 80-210mm f3.8-4.
All of two dollars in the junk bin at the camera shop.
A bit dusty and dingy... :-o

It wants to perform though

My sister had gotten me this from the same bin a couple of days earlier for the same 2 buck price. A Zeiss light meter missing it's incident light dome. No matter- the reflected light cds cell should work IF I can locate, or convert a 1.5 V. button battery for it.

Doc Sharptail

After a bit of a clean-up.
Got stumped on cleaning the focus grip rubber.
Soap and water just made it look greyer and worse.
It finally dawned on me to try vinyl cleaning wipes for the car.
It worked a bit better than I was expecting....

Doc Sharptail

In a Sally Ann thrift shop.
Much better after a bit of cleaning.
They are not careful where they applique their price stickers ;)
Lens elements seem a favorite location.
Sort of mixed reviews on-line for this one.
I won't be able to mount it on my nikon camera.
It is mountable on Canon digital through an adapter.
I tried a couple of frames with it reversed over the nikon mount, and it ain't bad.
It came with a very nice little O/M hard case and it's own O/M hood

Doc Sharptail
