Range report!
Took the Mk IV, Walther and a Mk II with scope for accuracy testing out to the state shooting range south of town. $6 an hour to blast away = mucho cheaper than joining the local shooting club.
Meant to get pics at the range, but somebody who looks a lot like me didn't get camera battery from the charger. The state RO had targets set up @ 15 yards which worked well for me. All groups were sighted dead on.
First up was the Ruger MkII 4" with oversized scope. Top group was right from the carrying case - bottom group was after sight adjustments.

Next up was the Walther Olympia. Top group didn't impress me, so I came back to it later, sat my glasses cockeyed on my nose to get the right trifocal band where I wanted it and really concentrated on the trigger. A little better, but not like I'd hoped for. No fail to fire, but it didn't feed right all the time. Most likely needs a replacement main spring. I'll check if Wolf Springs carries one.

Mk IV bull barrel. Now, THAT'S what I'm talking about! Scope? No - don't need one! What a sweet shooter! In fact, I'm thinking of selling the Mk II and putting the scope on my Contender 30 Herrett barrel.

Can't say enough good about the Mk IV - it's a keeper!
