Daughter brought it home from the thrift shop. After a couple of fresh SR-44 batteries replaced, the meter works, and the shutter fires. I have a very old roll of kodak 400 C-41 B&W film in it now. Took a bit of cleaning, and I still don't have all the cig smoke and house dust off it yet. Through the viewfinder is a bit dark, but this is an old early to mid 70's camera. I'm kind of curious how the 45mm Rokkor X is gonna work out. This definitely won't be long term- the nikon pile makes this about as much sense as fried eggs on broccoli, but that's what happens when gifted by family... Regards, Doc Sharptail |
