Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Vivitar Series 1 70-210 F3.5 showing multi-coating here.
This is the second I've had of this lens. It has the A/I indexing tab on the aperture ring. The first one was not converted, and I sold it off.

Lens rear. It could use a bit of a cleaning. It looks to have been stored capless where it could catch considerable dust.

Main tube and controls. Built by Kino, and quite well at that.

Quick test shot at 70mm and f8 shows slight over-exposure at -24C.
Cropped to remove the hood of my car, and re-sized. No further manipulation.
Not quite as sharp as the earlier variant I had, but still usable.
The lighting was a bit of a challenge here too.
I need to experiment with the half F stop settings on the aperture.

Regards,

Doc Sharptail
