The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

picked this up on Friday. kind of an early birthday present. nice Weaver Marksmen 3X9 on top. nice stock, needs to be refinished. very accurate old girl. was amazed at the cloverleaf with federal 150 gr. factory loads. was wondering about a .45-70 repeater? heard these are great for converting. oh well, it's not bad for $175 OTD.

This is a very stout action & can be converted to just about any caliber. For 45-70, the trick would be finding someone to get the feed rail geometry right. SW

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a p14? The only thing I've ever heard referred to as a p14 is the Pattern 1914 Enfield.

Jap rifle?

Laminate flooring sure is popular these days! I've got it too. The stuff looks pretty good everywhere I've seen it.
