The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. How did you Mosin guys miss this one. I Just got this auction as an accident, I saw DDR on this auction and threw a fast low bid on it just before I went to work and darn if I got it!! and I think it was cheap!! A 1929 Hex that ended up in East Germany after WW2 a nice bit of history for sure. Its not a Tula but it will do fine. :jmp:

Great find Mark.
Wish I could bid on items like this.
Well....I can bid, but shipping from the US to Europe is a huge problem(export license)
That rifle would cost me at least double the price you paid for it (in Euros).
I read the rifle comes with some extras like the sling and the bayonet.
Nice catch.

The rifle is home with me now, I wish I was aware back when, that there were all matching (incl bayonet) Mosins out there. What I do notice is that these matching ones stocks seem to have been finished better, I don't see the finish scraping off easily like some later ones I have bought.

I was surprised that I got the bid on it I guess we get lucky (DDR) some times. Now all I need is to get lucky on a DDR 38 and 44!!!
