Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Still plenty of high prices, but overall there were some decent deals. I sent 3 gats with my FFL guy and friend to display on his table but no dice.

I had spotted a 38-40 Uberti Bisley clone marked 500 that I think could have been OTD for less. Mine didn't sell, and in a rare moment of clarity, I didn't take extra cash so I didn't grab it. In retrospect that was probably just as well.

Saw an FR-8 for 550... no idea if that's a decent price. Saw a few used Sav 99s under 500... interesting, but I really don't have a use for one. The basement spideys already have plenty of Italian rifles to play on.

Saw a used Dillon Square D with dies & accessories for 300. Actually a good deal, but mine still works.

Ran into other retired railroaders & had fun yukking it up & swapping lies... errr... I mean war stories. "Raging blizzard & icy rail, but I still got 19,000 tons started on a grade w/o a shove!" etc & so forth. The first liar doesn't stand a chance! ;)

Left having scored exactly nothing, but I still had a great time! 8-) SW

A 38-40 Bisley, hmmm. The Ruger Bisley .357 keeps beckoning to me but I've been holding it off so far. But a 38-40 Uberti for $500? That one might have come home. The Ruger is $700.

Hey A-Square, we did miss you at the Fair grounds show a couple weeks ago. We did talk to the "kids".
