I talked to an ammunition collector last week.
He told me he had some Russian .22LR and a "cut-in-half" 7.62x54R cartridge.

I visited him today and bought both items and......a small French powder measure.
I don't know if it's really old or a replica, I just liked the way it looked and the price was right.

Still searching for the manufacturer.

I also liked this "cut-in-half" cartridge.
He made it himself.

Last but not least , the Russian .22.
On the front of the box it says: pistol cartridge and on the side: 50 pcs.
I'd love to have a translation of the rest.

I believe it reads "target shorts". I'm not certain about the word on the bottom of the box... "not for..." some sort of weapon.

The man must be a very good machinist - that's a good smooth cut. SW

Thanks SW.

Could this be a box of "short range" ammo??

About the "cut-in-half" ammo:
The man works a lot with metal.
This ammo thing is "just a hobby". :-o

Yes - the meaning could very well be "short range". SW
