I moved to Alabama from Illinois. Monday I walked into the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, and 23 minutes later I walk out with my Alabama concealed carry pistol permit.

Now I have to get carry holsters for like 4-5 different pistols!

Great! Holsters can be the hard part of CCW & there are a lot of factors to consider. SW

He's right, a good holster is NOT cheap. And a bad holster will make it unpleasant to carry. You might go through several until you find the right one.

Also you will need a good carry belt. This guy makes excellent quality belts at a REALLY good price

There is an Amish guy that makes nylon holsters and sets up at the local gun show and he makes belts out of harness leather, very heavy duty.

I've been having good luck with Safariland leather. SW

I use Desantis holster on a daily basis for the last 10 years, still using the same one, very comfortable once broken in.
