Thanks for the welcome. A root beer would go good right now ... the dewpoint is 68 degrees F. and a TORNADO WATCH for the county adjacent to us until 9 P.M. CDST. Ceiling fan is on high and me on low, the dogs are even trying to stay cool today. The fish are even sweating!

Not being able to read Russian, I couldn't make out any details about what country that collection is in. The picture of the safe door is out of focus; but it looks like it could be of US manufacture. Anybody else know?

There is one lonely M14/M1A sitting in one of the racks.

The finish looks pretty good on all those Mausers. Period pictures taken on the Russian front as published in Signal magazine, etc., sometimes show K98's with significant wear to their finishes. We can assume that as the Germans were rolled back, they had rifles in use that were near new to well-used, so there should have been battlefield captured weapons of all different conditions of finish. Of course, maybe this collector only buys mint condition, original weapons.
