And might as well ask if that gun ever changes? Went out over the weekend for a little just for fun shooting and realized that for the past six months or so one pistol keeps finding its way into the shooting box. phpdb4bvkPM.jpg

Right now it is a Colt officers match .38 Spl. Some how it has replaced the Smith model 15 that use to be in there and I just wondered if you people seem to have rotating favorites as well.

Lately it's been my hand ejector 1903 in 32 long. I always take my 1851 repro I converted to 38 spl, too. For Rifles, I like my Kropatschek or Nepali Snider. Way fun to shoot!

So is my RPD, but it's a trifle expensive to take very often. SW

For rifle it seems to be the Fal stg58, or the MAS 49/56, for pistol it's the Ruger P89 or Redhawk .44 mag.

Steyr E3 or one of the 1911's. All depends on what feels right at the time. Sometimes I'll take one of the M1's and the mausers and do a day at the range.

Steyr AUG and Steyr M9A1 9mm, and of course my always favorite Colt Commander .45.

Rifle- M1 Garand. Pistol- fn 1910 is usually my favorite, and my rg .22revolver fanning the hammer from the hip, shooting old shotgun shells. Great thread!

So far this is my best group with my 444 Marlin. This was final group during the break in of the barrel.

Just might get a deer if I see one. But I will work some more with load.

.....if the deer dont go down from the bullet from that Encore it'll die of a heart attack...having had the honor and pleasure of goin' shootin' with Rad when he's fired it on a couple of occasions,I must add that if you are nearby and not looking at him and not have your 'ears' on when he fires it,it could scare the **** outa ya,and being only bench or 2 away from him,you can 'feel' it too... hee heee..
