We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

at christmas i gifted a 22cal bolt action rifle to my friend gimp , he had given the family one that had been passed down to him to his brother for reasons ill leave to him to explain , so i had a spare [i had bought two in a complicated deal or two ] WZ78 trainer , nice little magazine fed with AK type sights readily removable and scopeable if desired , so being the good friend who had heard him lust after 22bolts at a couple gunshows i decided i did not need two - and he needed one , so i gave it to him ,

he had in turn given me a copy of a page from a ebay sale - he had bought me a book i had mentioned kicking myself for not buying for many years , he knew i had been passively looking for a copy for many years as a result - he told me "not to do anything stupid like buy one " it was on order and would be in soon [he had a hard time getting it as they are out of print] he found it in australia ,
so when i got to his place a week ago he handed me a package - a mint condition copy of graham priests book "spirit of the pike" in hard copy , what a terrific book ............. its now well used ,

this resides with my copy of the "LEE ENFIELD STOREY" the bibble of these rifles by skennerton , my copy of "BRITISH AND COMMONWEALTH BAYONETS" a terrific reference also by skennerton , my copy of the"INGLIS DIAMOND" by clive law the bibble of inglis high powers , my 'british enfield rifles' volumes by stratton , and similar from skennerton , my 'enfield revolver' book by skennerton , my copy of "the us rifle model 1917" by ferris , my bible of the "Colt 45 service pistols 1911 & 1911A1" by clawson , my bible of the CLASSIC FAL RIFLE" and various other US rifle references for items i no longer own .....

anyway , what a great gift . i spent a lot of hours on it in the last week ,
