Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Scored a cool kepi with an unusual device. Not the Foreign Legion grenade so I asked around to find it's from the Compagnies Sahariennes or French camel cavalry that patrolled remote areas of French-held desert countries.

Also acted as regional law enforcement. Companies had 3 French officers, 36 French NCOs and around 300 native enlisted who were either arab or Tuareg - but not together.

(They tended to despise each other.)

Companies also fought Germans in WW2.
