Spanish 32 auto Ruby clone marked "Automatic Pistol".

I was looking for a book downstairs and found where it had fallen behind other books years ago. Messing around, I quickly discovered why I hadn't missed it - easily a 25# trigger pull. So rough I doubt I could keep 8 rounds on a paper plate @ 10 paces.

Took it apart to see it was pristine internally and very likely had never been fired - no surprise there. Some WW1 French typist or company clerk had probably carried it in a brief case or left it in the bottom drawer of his desk.

No idea when I bought it or why. I wouldn't give $20 for it right now - hopefully I didn't give that for it then. So I oiled it & back behind the books it went.

One of life's mysteries, I guess.

still the best shooting book ive never owned i rather like it , i dont have any books i can shoot
