I have been receiving emails from my rep at Century telling they have M1 carbines and 1911A1's for sale. How come I have to have no money?

The 1911's are probably already gone They only had like a dozen or so of each mfr. They do have the carbines but think about the import mark & century's grading system. They are only listing them as 'good' or incomplete & cracked stocks.

I've gotten a few dogs that were listed as 'good'

Well, it looks like Bruce may have been right on the carbines. I read this on another site.

OK, guys, I'm the fool.

I just within the hour took receipt of 2 of them (IBM)from CIA.

They came with no magazines included in the price and I was charged $10 for 2 of the scrungiest most rusty, grimey and battered surplus 15-round magazines I have ever seen in my life.

The 2 rifles are completely covered in cosmoline, rust and grime, and some have spots on teh metal without the cosmo (where it rubbed or wore off) have a layer of rust. This is really pushing "good"condition.

One bolt has a really thick layer of scaley rust on it. I'll clean 'em up and report back, but I'd never recommend ordering these just becasue of the shock I got when I opened the boxes.

Unless they are really mechanically great once they are cleaned up, I feel that this is an offer to stay away from.
