Yesterday's Weapons Forums

Saw one of these at a meeting of the Dutch Firearms Collectors Association last week.
It's a Chinese Type 86s.
The weapon was used for "action shooting", but the present owner wants it back to it's original configuration.
He is looking for the original sights.
Info is most welcome.

A Chinese copy of the Russian Dragunov.
He bought it directly from the Norinco plant in China.





Fantastic rifle isn't it.

Picked up a copy of a Dragunov at a gunshow but can't remember who it was made by. It was a lot lighter than I thought it would be. The guy was asking $900 so I put it back.

It was probably Romanian and last I saw they were going for about $800
