Yesterday's Weapons Forums

There seems to be no forum to report or ask about problems with the board, so I'm asking here. Why is it that when I click on "View Active Topics" I get nothing?

The tech stuff is way over my head. fr8dude is the head techie, but he's out of town at the moment. The other Bruce does that sometimes, but he's been AWOL... I hear he's picking up extra income break dancing with a troupe of Roumanian "little people".

...yeah-fr8dude is in Salt Lake City looking for a few wives to bring home... ....it doesnt work for me either-and I just tried to see if I could make one but it told me I "dont have permission"...(well ex-CYOOOOSE me)...we will all give him a hard time when he gets back and set one up-and work out a few other bugs that have cropped up since the last automatic upgrade ....why to 'upgrades' always seem to DEGRADE things...

I have never seen that work. I chose 'view new posts' on the right side.

That feature worked for me. Will try it on other topics.

Got back to the hotel this morning, dead tired from the lack of sleep the last couple and a 12 hour shift. Took time to find the reason for this and corrected a few of the forums.

Up now and couple of hours till next shift so what we have now is this.

If you notice when you look at the main index page the forums are divided into groups. For example "Specialty Weapons" under which you have forums for the Mosins, Enfields etc. If you click on "Specialty Weapons" you will get an index page of the forums in that group. Now if you click on "View Active Topics" you will get a list of all the active topics in that group.

Hope this does the trick for you all. I can do further activation of this feature per forum later if desired by you, the members.

Rad, the reason it worked for you is the 3 main discussion forums are the ones I worked with before hitting the sack.
