Scott is well known for the quality of his work (evans obsolete screws) so it sems appropriate to copy and paste this notice I found on another site here. - Amatikulu
A Sad Time For A Mutual Friend
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been asked by a mutual board friend to many of us to make this post in his stead.
About two weeks ago, Scott Stonehill's wife passed away, sadly. It has been a very trying time for Scott and I have just returned home after spending a couple of weeks trying to help him with things around the house. I took him on a small road trip for about a week because I didn't want him to be alone so soon after such a tragedy. We drove to Pensacola, Florida to the Naval Air Museum and then to Mobile, Alabama to see the Battleship, "Alabama". On the way home we stopped in Dotham, Alabama, to see another mutual friend and spent a Saturday at the range. I didn't want to leave him but I know he has to face things on his own to start the healing process.
Scott's main concern is the amount of projects that have been backing up and he is worried some people may become impatient. He only asks for a little time to finish them as he still has a lot of issues to deal with. He also wishes to ask anyone who may be thinking of inquiring about some work to hold off for a month or so, so he won't feel pressured by any more backlog. It would also be a big help if someone can copy and paste this into other forums on this board that they know use Scott for their work. He said he gets orders for screws for so many different types of rifles, it is impossible for him to know where they heard of him from.
If anyone wishes to send a note of support to Scott, you can drop him a e-mail at
sstonehill@knology.net. He wishes to thank everyone for their patience and understanding until he gets back on his feet.
