Didn't we guess the Martini action when you posted pics? It should be able to handle the pressures no problem. I have a 12 ga & a 12/14 ga martini & they have no issues with pressure

think we did , i had pointed out that my trap gun is a sported 1888 martini , which to compound the discussion had gone to bonehill to become a miniature prior to the gunsmith converting it to 12 ga

i think its beautiful , yes i agree sported , but a very fine job on it , you are fortunate to have such a fine firearm for sure ,

Now on second look I don't think it is a true martini but a martini-like action. Look at the location of the trigger & the lever pivot in relation to a true martini. On a martini the lever pivots where your trigger is. The trigger is fixed into the trigger guard assy. On yours the lever pivots where the trigger normally is & the trigger looks to be fixed into the receiver. Yours also has what looks like a bottom tang & the rear of the receiver flaires out at the back end whereas a martini does not have this fliar but is slab sided. (nor does it have a tang) looks more like a westley-richards.
