I'd say break out your vernier caliper & make a few measurements - maybe even a chamber cast.

There are plenty of odd size shotgun calibers floating around from the continent. Heck, Grafs is plumb OUT of 24 ga brass. People make 577 Snider from it. SW

One place I worked we would get Kroil by the gallon and I still have a full gallon of it today.
