Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Man I wish I had known y'all were looking for some nice Bowies, I have been selling the heck out of them on evil bay, just sold a sweet L F &C made about 1890 last week, I have a couple less expensive ones left if your still looking.

oil on brass wool and in 4-ought will do nicely but there are those that will suggest scotch brite in the same way as a good alternative , dont use coarse grit on metal or wood as she deserves TLC

no - brass 'wool' / as in sheeps fuzz - like steel wool only not so abrasive , it leaves the finish while takling off the rust , dont rub too hard it will put her back in the condition she deserves to be in , 4-ought [very fine]

thjat is a very nice knife from my humble point of view ,

A polishing wheel with a bit of jewelers rouge or buffing compound on a dremil should clean it up, if your as lazy as I am.
