I bought a Chinese SKS around a year ago and the bayo lug was ground off and I'm wanting to find a new front sight assembly to make it right again.
I tried Gunbroker, Numrich, Buymilsurp. and browsed around on the net a little and so far I've come up with nothing.
Anyone have a extra one layin around or know where a guy could find one of these?

I am pretty fond of mine as well, and would not trade it for any AK. I think it is one of the best all around rifles I have.

If you wanna sell your sks front sight base, I'll buy it from you. I had to cut my last one off to mount the muzzle brake, and I don't mind not having a bayonet attachment.

We put it onto his rifle a while ago here at my place. I believe the rifle has since been traded or sold.

Well if anybody else has a sight base they wanna get rid of that doesn't have bayonet lug, let me know;)

Oh I see you want one sans lug. We had to cut the old one off. It wouldn't budge even with a press.

You can check the diameter of the barrel, maybe an AK fsb will fit? There are plenty of those available & the height might work.
