Our pal, Kaintuck made the basic club for me from a leftover piece of cherry wood he had. I added paint and tacks not long after I got it from him.

Having a good supply of turk feathers, I scored a bottle o' Elmo's glue and lifted some of wifey's red yarn to spiff it up a little as shown here.

I took it out back & sunk the head in a tree but it's too windy for a decent pic. That & little mutt kept trying to grab the feathers. Now to work on a scalp lock! SW

nice , i like that , scalp will add to it but you must choose carefully , gotta have correct consistency and color for the era and area ,
