The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. the cherry stock has a 'punk wood' blemish that has a insert now drying...placed yesterday. It will be sanded down and smoothed in....then the carving will continue. I have very little 'rhime/reason/ at this point in my build techniques......fitting gets boring, so then a do carve layout....then get bored there and go to sanding.....then filet gougeing....then back to carving..... :crzy:

the sisters walnut stock is way heavy, the cherry is light wood....but I don't think I will do another......it's so soft of wood........
I now have to get the patchbox on the cherry rifle....maybe today......maybe next saturday.......anytime is fun time with these.......i need to get on the nosecap for the walnut stock.....

and the colt target bow was my fathers......1960's 8-)
