The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I have completed the cherry-stocked rifle~It was a challenge for me, as this is the 2nd rifle I have attempted...I have learned a lot,namely...I HATE CHERRY~the extra brass inlay on the cheek-piece is due to 'punk-wood' there...no way to cover it. then I have had to cut out, then insert a small piece at the tang....then while I know I'm not the best carver,the grain changes every millimeter~~~!
but the nice warm red tons are set off by the brass, I think Gary will like his rifle...which I plan to present him with it tomorrow....the patchbox release is the button on the bottom toeplate, the muzzle cap turned out nice an tight, it's a 50cal 44" swamped Rice barrel, should shoot good for him~
