Thanks fellas,,,,I see all my mistakes.....and I think I have a tool fetish....worse than my Paris fetish!...I keep thinking that " one more tool" will make me better
This rifle has a lefty setup....my 1st....I need Steve to drive down and test it for me....
I'm haveing some trouble with the trigger grouping, as the the owner inlet them some....and the springs are pushing where they ought not....tomtom keeps mumbling, and telling how to " fix" it....
It was a kit I believe, so bbl and rr was set already, as was the ruff shape. Southern Mtn rifles are fast and easier than KY rifles....no patch box, or carving....but the steel parts are LONG in finishing....as you need to be filing them smooth....so I sit with a tv show on and a towel on my lap....and " file away the hours" till my hands get tired....put it down, repeat again.......
I DO like working these rifles for " therapy" from my job.....as you guys can see....there's ANOTHER blank next to it.....as the owner sent me a 40cal A weight barrel n on trade......
help....I can't stop myself!!!!
Flintlocks and Paris pictures.....what else is there in life???
