Cap is on and pinned on the Christian spring rifle project ;D...used the afternoon to do a lot of "file work".....the barrel flats needed sooth draw filing, and rounding those sharp edges off :crzy:
So I'm committed to age this one now!....done a lot of the lines along the forend, and lower buttstock.....I will have to admit.....I will copy Kens rifle's griffin.....I have looked high and low for one, everything don't look "right" for the rifles age period.
She's slowly shaping into a nice "little" rifle.......

The "Kentucky" rifle wood was squared up at Jacobs this morning.....I posted pictures of the wood, it is the most tiger striped I have ever bought......I will have to be careful making that rifle....not to ruin that beautiful wood!
