Getting her done...... Still working on the finishing part. All the brass need 320-400-800-1000 then OOOO steel wooded. I have learned that a Drexel with a new type of brush will help blending the carvings. The barrel will need a little more filing, the company I got this breed from, leaves the barrel in th rough, it helps keep the price well beneath 300 bucks!....and, it is just part of a build to finish the parts. I will stain/finish th wood, then the metal. All will be aged and stressed as if 200yrs of use. I really like a rifle to look used, but cared for. I hope to shoot this one, just to see how she does at th range. Although I don hunt, a "C" weight 54cal barrel could take a 120gr charge w/o any problems Just don't know if my should can stand it....
