No picture loaded, but I drilled and tapped the trigger plate today.....the way it's done is a drilling jig. I have a starting point and ending point, and a 6" 1/8" bit.....I did good with perfect centered hole on the tang, but I got into a hurry and forgot to clean the bit often, and the HARD wood took it 1/32" off center where she met the trigger plate.... :ow:
So the bolt is tiny bit off center, but will be covered with the brass triggerguard anyhow....if I was making it for a customer, I would weld and re-drill....
That's my story, when you see the pics, later.....you'll notice.......now IF Jacob had of drilled it.....it would be perfect.....that Amish boy call sure 'talk' to wood!!!!

Still taking wood off this rifle......I paid 250 bucks for a lot of wood shavings on to toms floor!!!! :kap:
