Post subject:  Home made tripod for my chronograph

I had been looking for a tripod for my chronograph for a spell. I did not like the adjustable ones; as it looked to me as though they could fold up. So I built one of scrap wood in my shop and epoxied a 1/4 inch bolt in the top. It does not adjust and I designed it to set up my chronograph at the right height in front of my shooting table.

Thanks; it was a worthwhile project. Before that my tripod was from a spotting scope which stood about 4" high, and I had to rest it precariously on my shooting table. BTW two things it took me forty forevers that proved to be essential to my way of shooting and reloading were a trigger gauge and a chronograph. Before I got the chronograph I actually thought the printed velocities in the reloading manuals were accurate, and before I got the trigger gauge I thought I could tell weight of trigger pull pretty closely (Yup within 2 or 3 pounds maybe).
