Saturday... survived another week! Got my last wisdom tooth extracted... which came out in pieces. But it's out & feels a lot better now. Then Flop Ears got sick. She had a cyst removed - incision closed with staples & a body wrap. She kept fussing with the wrap and finally got hives over the course of 8 days & sick last night. So off-a to the vet who removed wrap and staples. Whole new dog! She even waved her tail at the vet's counter cat, and she doesn't like cats at all. He told me if she gets sick again give her a spoon or 2 of canned pumpkin. I did not know about that!
So back home for a piece of bacon and is acting like herself again. Makes me wonder if the wrap was stressing her out. Back to pics...

Saturday again! Still not spring around here - frosted twice this week and 37 degrees this morning when we went out for a short hike. Must be more global warming. Dog is healed up from surgery and acting normally again. Howled at pelicans, deer and a few single turks earlier. The hens are mostly off by themselves looking for a place to nest. Too wet for yard work, and I have some things I'd like to do. Maybe next week. Since the Russky sites took off for WW2 victory day there were fresh pics this morning. SW

This happened after the WW2 victory parade in Moscow, and vodka was indeed a factor. Tank was loaded onto a flatbed and... "It's too heavy to fall off, comrade - no need to chain it down. Let's hurry to the party!"

So the semi driver hung a tight turn and hit the gas. *Thud*. SW

i was thinking the same as rebel here - it would need a fulcrum to turn over like that but alas ...you provide it - two feet would do it at the right speed 4 feet at even less - but i doubt they put it on anything higher than the lowboy trailer , had to be a bad day for all involved though ,

You guys ever watch the driving in Russia videos on YouTube? Try it sometime, you'll be shaking your head.

I have actually flinched watching those! Doesn't take long to see alcoholism is a major problem there. A friend told me the only way to collect insurance from a wreck in Russia is to have a dash cam *proving* the other driver was at fault.

Seems like it's a done deal - you're either going to get smacked or stuck in deep mud. SW
