Still plenty of high prices, but overall there were some decent deals. I sent 3 gats with my FFL guy and friend to display on his table but no dice.
I had spotted a 38-40 Uberti Bisley clone marked 500 that I think could have been OTD for less. Mine didn't sell, and in a rare moment of clarity, I didn't take extra cash so I didn't grab it. In retrospect that was probably just as well.
Saw an FR-8 for 550... no idea if that's a decent price. Saw a few used Sav 99s under 500... interesting, but I really don't have a use for one. The basement spideys already have plenty of Italian rifles to play on.
Saw a used Dillon Square D with dies & accessories for 300. Actually a good deal, but mine still works.
Ran into other retired railroaders & had fun yukking it up & swapping lies... errr... I mean war stories. "Raging blizzard & icy rail, but I still got 19,000 tons started on a grade w/o a shove!" etc & so forth. The first liar doesn't stand a chance!
Left having scored exactly nothing, but I still had a great time!
