Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

.....posted thes waaaaay back on old forum I think,but have long since disappeared........obviously WW1-but no one in the family on her side knew much about his service.....actually the only way I knew it was him was because I came across pics of her dad on leave after bootcamp next to him...a lil' older....a lil fatter-but still definately him....if I had a scanner I'd post that pic side by side so you could see..........ANOTHER fella I wish I could've talked too... :-?

....anyway,here's the shots....looks like a P17 to me-and when I zoom in on his ammo belt,I see I've got one the exact same type!!!....a Mills-patented in '06 and 1915.......dunno what the insignia on his shoulder is of in the 1st studio pic...
