The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. Picked up a Savage model 10 GRS in .308 for my new reach out and touch someone rifle. I’m hoping to get it sighted in out to 1000 yards when I get a chance. I ordered a Vortex 6-24x50 Viper HS LR scope with a set of matched rings for it. I was mocking it up today to get an idea of how it was going to look. Going to try it with my cousins suppressor next time I get out to his house.

and i have had a vortex viper for a while now , cannot say enough good things of it - you will love it , nice combination

Added two pics, one of the rifle with the scope mounted and the suppressor on it and one of me shooting it. It performed great ,I ran out of daylight but military ball ammo was real good, I can’t wait to fine tune the scope and try match ammo!

So I took this rifle deer hunting in Maine this past season, unfortunately i did not have the opportunity to pull the trigger. The other 2 rifles I intended to take had some issues to close to departure so I went with this beast. Unfortunately you cannot hunt with suppressors up there.

Nice rifle, me and my wife have both moved into the Savagery Ariana last year, mines not like that but more traditional, plain wood combo with scope I shot mine, my wife hasn't, I by something she does I but it's great we both shoot her favorites are the contender line.

Those 'not so loudeners' really take a lot of the recoil out of the .308

I love Savage rifles and have several.

A Model 10 Sierra ultralight carbine in .308

A model 11 in .223 that needs a new barrel (got it cheap and intend to put a Shilen barrel in .223 Wilde on it with a Hogue stock)

A Mark II heavy-barrel in .22lr

And a Springfield Model 840 bolt-action in .30-30 Win (see how I accurized it in the "Project and Conversation" thread)
