my friend has mulberry trees and tis the season , he got 14 last night and is after more tonight , they are getting smarter - they seem to know when his gun light comes on bad things happen so he has switched to the thermal sight , we shall see how this nights hunting goes , he put a can on the rifle but has to limit his range to the area he can shoot the rifle , prefers the shotgun as he doesnt have to worry of the carry over , he is about to do his nightly rounds - hope its fruitful as they seem to raise havoc in his wifes garden , they live in the country , raise chickens and have a large garden , they have been published in new pioneer a number of times , they both write these days as well as work in the gun industry , |

he has a lot of coons in his area , he said they seem to have a bumper crop this year , has gotten as many younger ones as he has the big fat older ones , too bad we dont have a good way to prepare them , lots of meat going to the coyotes .....but they do have to eat too , im starting to think i need a coon skin hat complete with that bushy tail , just not sure how to go about that yet , i think a little internet research might be in order |

spoke to a guy this evening, told me his Grandfather hunted coons and opossums, but really liked opossums, he would trap them live, put them in a cage and feed them for a month to get the meat to taste better then dinner time, |

i know ive eaten things i never knew what it was , but ive made it a loint to try some things from various regions of the country and the world - have found a lot of things i liked that id never have guessed , part of that is the way its cooked tho , just never warmed to sushi and other uncooked meats last time we talked the coons had gotten smart and ran from his gun lights so he has switched to thermal imaging , added a silenced 22 to the mix to get multiples as they are congregating - last count for an evening was 12 , maybe he is thinning the herd some ? |

the sig echo 3 thermal sight has claimed 19 now in the last few days [nights] this sight shoots a video , its on a 10/22 with a sig can , the retical will auto adjust to the range finder reading if you pair them with higher caliber bullets , |
